Native to (you-guessed-it!) Mexico, this small deciduous tree puts on a spring show of pretty pink blossoms before it unfurls its medium green, wavy-edged and heart shaped leaves for the summer show. By fall, the leaves turn golden and in a nice breeze will mimic the quaking aspens of the north. Stays small to fit easily in most gardens and this special Wishing Tree also likes a little shade.
